CMKL and Tsinghua SIGS Launch "Explore China's Innovation Frontier" in Shenzhen

CMKL University and Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS) are launching Explore China's Innovation Frontier, an executive education programme held at Tsinghua SIGS in Shenzhen, China, one of the world's fastest-moving technology hubs.

Each day pairs a morning module taught by Tsinghua SIGS faculty with an afternoon on site at a leading Chinese technology company, so participants see the ideas from the classroom at work in industry.

Three modules, three days

Module 1: Investment and Financing in China and Path Analysis, with a visit to Tencent Holdings Ltd.

Module 2: Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing, with a visit to UBTECH Robotics Corp., Ltd.

Module 3: Big Data, Cloud Computing and Future Industrial Development, with a visit to Shenzhen Shokz Co., Ltd.

The programme opens with a welcome ceremony and an evening networking event with Tsinghua faculty and alumni, and closes with group presentations.

Where you will learn

Tencent: the company behind WeChat and QQ, with cloud, FinTech and enterprise services for digital transformation.

UBTECH Robotics: humanoid and smart service robots for education, logistics, wellness and elderly care.

Shokz: the world leader in bone conduction and open-ear audio technology.

Taught by Tsinghua faculty

Prof. CHAN Waikin Victor (Tsinghua University), programme advisor: industrial and systems engineering and simulation.

Prof. LIN Jianwu: finance, after more than a decade in quantitative investment on Wall Street.

Prof. FENG Pingfa: advanced manufacturing, high-speed cutting and precision machining.

Prof. LI Xiu: artificial intelligence and data mining.
